Do I request cleaning or scaling?
Any chance that the "new" dentist wanted to make certain you were committed
to maintaining the support and foundation for this tooth before you invested
lots of time and money into fixing the inside of the tooth????
Normally, I would have opened the tooth on the spot and removed enough
inflamed/infected soft tissue from inside the tooth to get you comfortable
while we evaluate your periodontal condition. But,,,,,, not having been
there, I can't say I would have treated you differently.
