Replace these mercury fillings or not?

Hi Peter:
If you have absolutely no health concerns and the amalgam fillings are in
good condition and don't need to be replaced for functional reasons,
leave them alone until the need arises to replace them. When that
happens, you should consider alternatives but make sure you contact the
International Academy of {*filter*}Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) to get the
protocols for safe mercury removal. The past president of the IAOMT is
online and you can reach him at the second location in my signature file.
I think the protocols may be there somewhere too. As long as the proper
protocols are practised, your mercury exposure will be minimized if you
decide to have them removed.

The reasons they are still being used today have nothing whatsoever to do
with safety, or lack thereof. This is a political football.
