Cool, way cool steve! Now you need to get a SAAB 96 Monty Carlo. With three
ciols and three Bing carbs. With the optional exhaust slider. I'm still
looking for a 67VW fastback with little rust.
SAABs are like waterbugs they can really dart around. Kinda like a two stroke
Minni Cooper.
Enjoy

Dan,

I have to be nuts.  I brought home a 1960 model 93 two-stroker to keep the
blue one company on last Friday.  Pulled up on the driveway with the little
black car on a trailer and my wife never batted an eye.  Am I blessed or
what?

Dan,

A {*filter*}-friend just came by the house to meet me in person tonight.  He
drove up in a 1967 Saab 96 Monte Carlo with under 40,000 original miles on
it.  Mrs. Steve had to wipe the drool off my face.

It was neat having three "strokers" on the driveway at the same time!

BTW, I saw Maris today at the MDA meeting.  I always enjoy his company.

> Cool, way cool. I used to rally race when I was in High school. I used a '66

FIAT 1100. Two webbers 10" clutch and the old Stebro exhaust system and
suspention kit. It would give a Monty' a run for the money untill you got on
a dirt road then the Monty' would leave me in the dust. My Sister got hit by
a drunc driver in it The special seat belts saved her life. It might have
been a Fiat but it was cool.
The euro-rods as me and Mars called them. Mars and me are died in the wool VW
men. He can tell you of some hairraising adventures we used to have in our
VW's pylon racing on 495 was alwayse great fun.
Why dont you send me the block of your black one and I'll get it board and
reported to use the three Micuny or Tillosen set up. Cryo treat the cyl.
head.
Use the old Suzuky waterbuffalo ignition system. Or you can let me put a pulse
ring on your crank and you can put fuel injection on it. Then you can mix #6
peanut oil in it and it will be less poluting than some modern cars. It also
smell nice. Silicone bed the {*filter*} if you are going to do any serious
driving in it. Chrome or cadmium plate the pistons for higher compression.
Get an appropriate slider pipe from the Yamaha dealer that matches the size
of your engine. Then you will have a super waterbug. Hey mabey we could have
a Rally?
