 mucosal retention cyst

Mucous retention cyst is not truly a cyst, i.e., it is not a lesion lined by
epithelium.  The more correct name is mucous retention phenomenon: it is
also known as a mucocele.  It is caused by a pooling of saliva from a
ruptured salivary gland duct.  They do not necessarily need to be excised.
