I'll second that motion.

Anyone...anyone willing to share (publically or privately --
if private, let me know if I can repost the information
while protecting your privacy) examples of the mark-up on
typical dental goods (e.g. lab fabricated prostheses, those
fine acrylics formulated by, ahem, chemists, pain-killers,
etc.).

Similarly...anyone willing to share (publically or privately
-- if private, let me know if I can repost the information
while protecting your privacy) justifications of the mark-up
on typical dental goods.

Someone had recently posted, that after the overhead,
salaries, insurance, etc. had been paid, he was making about
as much as a plumber.  Well, as far as I know, the
monogrammed shirt that the plumber wears, carries the name
of his employer or of his own company.

Have a nice day, and do brush, floss, and visit your
periodontist from time to time.

Sounds good to me, but only with the provisos that it doesn't require
that I work as hard as I have to, put in the hours I need to, deal with
the people I have to, take the responsibility I need to, deal with the
regulations I have to, be as stressed as I am, to earn the money I earn.

Turned down an opportunity to get into rural practice, eh?

Society, as well as nature, has features which are limiting.
Stressed...well you made those hard choices.  How many
dentists have to extract cash from their patients in order
to pay for the decisions _they_ made years ago?
