Dentist is talking about teaching students.......
1)
"I taught them to carefully elevate the buccal mucoperiosteum or lateral
mucoperiosteum and to stay away from the lingual or medial aspect of
the s/l ______aveola ridge in the inner (?) angle of the mandible."

I don't know what that word is, but sounds like it ends in aveola or something
like that.  Also, does "inner angle" sound right?

2)
"I taught them s/l troughing, removing bone from around the buccal surface of
the tooth."
3)
Is the most accepted spelling "bur" or "burr"

Thanks very much!
