my patient of 25 years and 10 mm pockets
Two weeks ago, a patient who I saw first in 1983, came back after a 7
year hiatus. 7 years ago I redid an upper anterior 8 unit bridge. In
1983 I redid the bridge done by another dentist. This pt is 60
years old today.
This pt has no lower molars. 25 years ago he had 10 mm pockets
between 2 and 3 and 14 and 15. 7 years they were 10mm. Two weeks ago
I probed them as 8. There is very little overeruption of the
posterior molars.
Medically-legally I proposed implants for all 4 posterior quadrants,
even though the teeth have stood the test of time.
