I'm less than a year away from completing my Ph.D. in physical organic
chem (kinetics) and wish to cross over to another field to work on
neurodegenerative diseases. Yeah, I know, it's quite a departure.

Anyone have any advice or opinion on this? Any readers out there with a
similar experience? My biggest concern is how to secure funding/a
fellowship in an area so new to me.
