This is a {*filter*} disease which is probably due to a proliferation of the clonal stem cells. The one most dramatic cancer cure I have ever read was in Scientific American in 1989. A man was cured of Leukemia through the use of Psoralen(sp) and UV exposure. Since it is known what cells are out of sinc how about duplicating them, doping exposing and putting back in the body. In this Leukemia case there was a "vaccination" effect. This illness is curable in many of the forms with a causal illness. I just think the seriousness of the illness warrants experimental methods. If you can stop the proliferating cells it will stop the illness. Cathy.

Agnogenic myeloid metaplasia
Cathy: Agnogenic myeloid metaplasia (also called idiopathic myelofibrosis) is not "curable." Those cases which have disappeared are probably cases of secondary myelofibrosis due to another disease, such as Hodgkin's disease.
