I am looking for any information reguarding Emt and Paramedic Training, and any emergency  informtion on the treatment of trauma patients. (First Responder Information). Any hints or sites on where I can get This information would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Kirk,

Well, for openers, there's a newsgroup called misc.emerg-services just for
"EMT types."

Several publishing companies put out training manuals.  Brady Publishing
Co. does several (including, I believe, a test and a supplemental manual
specifically for first responders).

One "classic" text in use is "Emergency Care in the Streets" by Nancy
Caroline, M.D.  (This is the keystone book in several paramedic programs,
and a lot of MD's and RN's have found it tremendously useful, too.)

Anyway, these a just a few basic suggestions to help you get started.
