My brother (he is 48 and until recently very strong) has been
diganosed with liver cancer.  It appears the tumor is close to the
feeder vein (Porta???) and is 12 cm wide. They also suspect that he
has had Hepatitis C for some time.

His doctors feel that it is not viable to operate but seem to believe
that the tumor has not spread beyond the liver.

Does anyone know where are the centres of excellence for this type of
problem in Europe? He currently lives in Spain.  Would you agree that
there is no viable treatment, or should we be pressing for a second
opinion?
