I need advice on Tennis Elbow ailments. I have been afflicted with T.E. for
almost a year now. I have had two cortizone (sp?) shots in the past year,
they helped temporarily. I wear a band on my arm to help keep the muscles
in place. Originally, I got T.E. after a long weekend of moving, and working
on one of our houses, and the clincher was scrapping the popcorn off the
living room ceiling (a vaulted one).
This summer I painted the exterior of one of our houses, and reroofed another,
and ironically my arm felt okay, actually like it was finally healing and
getting stronger. This was probably due to my being very aware and cautious
of it, and favoring it in most circumstances.
And then we went to Alaska for vacation, and it got worse, most probably
because I left my arm band home (I guess I felt my arm was almost healed so
I didn't need it). Also I probably wasn't as careful with my arm when I was
hauling our luggage.
Does anyone have any advice on what further treatment I should pursue.
Thanks ahead of time for any advice.
