For the past few years I have had at least 1 sinus
infection per year. This past one lasted 8 weeks.
Antibiotics help!  Antihistamines haven't. Although
I have had allergies in the past, during this
bouts I don't have sneezing, watery eyes, itching etc.
I do have headaches, sleeplessness, and total nasal congestion.
Previous doctors have attribute the cause to allergies,
but I'm not convinced.

In any case the next recommended step is removal of some
nasal polyps.  Can't these be shrunk with cortisones?
What's the operation like?
