 Hearing Loss

To all who have a clue; The other day, we were standing in the kitchen
with our 28 year old pregnant daughter having a conversation, when she
exclaimed that the hearing in her right ear began to sound funny. Within
2 hours she was stone deaf in that ear. This was agreed to by an ear
specialist this morning. The problem is that he doesn't know why this
has happened and whether her hearing will return or not. There
are absolutely no other symptoms at all. Does anyone have any clue as to
what has happened and what the prognosis is?.....from a very concerned
parent. P.S. There is also a slight loss in the left ear too.
