If the heating system had just been activated after lying dormant all summer,
it's possible that they're reacting to a sudden increase in the number of mold
spores blown out into the atmosphere.  Cluster type headache is frequently
confused with migraine and is associated with allergen-antibody reactions.

 Chemical exposure
As a safety inspector at a major university, I need some help.  Recently three
people in adjoining offices came down with migraines one day apart.  All had no
hx of migraines.  No detectable chemical odor was in the area.  All are based
out of offices some distance from chemical labs. Does anyone know of a chemical
at low levels that could cause these problems?  Leave answer on this net.
Thanks.  RB

Was the roof of the building being tarred at the time?
