 Those annoying twitches

What causes random muscle twitches?  Like those eye twitches?

Anyways, I've been having a constant muscle (maybe it isn't) twitch on my
left hand... right below my thumb.  Is that indicative of anything?  And
what would that be caused by?

Very common in students, usually caused by not enough sleep and too
much caffeine.

If getting more sleep and using less caffeine doesn't help, see a doctor.

I have no medical qualifications.

Fasiculations is the term. Who knows? Most people get them off and on. It's not
uncommon. Caffeine, smoking, tired, hard to say. I've had them for years and
years off and on. I think most people do and just don't think about it.
