A good friend of mine has been diagnosed with Thoracic Out-
let Syndrome, which apparently has something to do with the
nerves in the shoulder.  Do you know what this is?   Do you
know anyone who's had it?  We'd like to learn more about it.

My sister's had all kinds of problems for years with her hands (they go
numb in cold), wrists (could never get a definite diagnosis if it was Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome, or something else), back (pain).  

She's finally been diagnosed as having 1)Thoracic Outlet Syndrome,  
2) Reynaud's Disease, 3)Carpal Tunnel Syndrome,  and 4) Spondy-something
(can't recall the name; has to do with her spine).  All of these things
are said to be interrelated and aggravated by her years of working on a
computer.  

She works as a receptionist/bookkeeper in a veterinary hospital.  She
spends a lot of her time on a computer, but I can't see her work being so
computer-intensive as to cause the number of problems that she has.

I would also like to hear any information anybody has about Thoracic
Outlet Syndrome, and/or any of the diseases. Thanks.
