A friend has a cyst about waist height in front, 2cm long and 1cm wide.
Type is unknown. It's been there for 8 wks. No decrease was seen after 6
wks of antibiotics. It is painful only when pressure is placed on it.
Two techniques were give by a physician for its removel:

 1. cut lengthwise, remove all cyst material
 2. use biopsy tool to make a small hole in center, squeeze material out
    scarring is less with #2.

The physician did indicate that it wasn't necessary to remove it. My
friend wishes to remove it due to the discomfort the cyst generates.

Are there other options to decrease the cyst size or get rid of it
totally?
