I would like to announce the start up of a new LISTSERV mailing list-
"Surginet" .SURGINET is an unmoderated discussion list intended
for                        
General Surgeons offering a forum for the exchange of ideas,
knowledge and information and for the discussion of all aspects                
of General Surgery. Subscription is by owner and requires some
demonstration of medical qualifications. I am trying to restrict
membership to  medical people to keep the discussions at a professional
level. The list so far is pretty small and inactive but I anticipate it
will grow with further advertising and word of mouth.
Please realise that I, as the owner make no claim to being any kind of
computer wiz but will be glad to try and help anyone with list related
