J> Doctors critical of chelation therapy are usually unfamiliar
J>with the literature and have no experience with the treatment in

J>FDA being conducted at army hospitals. Currently this study is on
J>hold for financial and, perhaps, political reasons.
J> For further information, I recommend Bypassing Bypass by Elmer
J>Cranton, MD, an in depth look at chelation with a chapter on free

This is an excellent post - with only one serious omission. It
does not name the most informative and popular book on chelation therapy
ever written: Forty Something Forever: The Consumer's Guide to Chelation
Therapy. It is only $6.95 , available in bookstores everywhere, in its
thir{*filter*} printing with some 200,000 copies in print. To order direct,
call: 1-800-638-8807. This is the book chosen by the National Federation
of the Blind to be made available through their braille and talking book
program possible by a special Congressional grant! The authors have
spent 17 years researching chelation therapy from the patients' point
of view and appear internationally in public seminars, on radio and TV.
J> Heart disease is the number one killer in America. Bypass surgery
J>is expensive and risky, and has not been shown to be of clear
J>benefit. It is important to consider the value of chelation therapy,
J>which has so many direct and side benefits with so few negative side
J>effects. If you have vascular disease, it would be worthwhile to look
J>for a doctor who does chelation therapy as part of a comprehensive
J>approach to treatment.
