Ritalin added about two years to my productive life. MS wiped my short
term memory and attention span.
If you can get the dosage right it works wonders. A little too much
and the results are as Steve describes.
I was working on a robot that was controled by 6 networked computers.
Too much speed and the code wouldn't work.
The next round of MS did enough damage that speed won't restore
functionality.
In my case speed did not have the effect of calming down as it
is claimed to do with ADD. It always created an anxiety problem
if I took very much at all. The top dosage was 30 mg a day spaced
out over the day.
Dexidrine is about twice as strong and a good deal longer lasting.
It often cause my sleep problems. Anxiety and jumpiness is worse than
ritilan.
