Bidding for the 280-million-ear-old petrified
human brain being sold on eBay is going
through the roof..

The Smithsonian  has submitted quite a
substantial opening bid -- containing lots
and lots of zeros.

Meanwhile, a confidential source inside its
National Museum of Natural History has
confided to one of his neighbors in Reston,
Va., that the Smithsonian is prepared to go
much, much higher.
<
"'We have to make sure we're the high bidder because we realize the
petrified human brain
is a deadly weapon in our bullshit theory of the Evolution of Man," he
told his neighbor, who
just happened to be wearing a tiny tape recorder in his baseball hat
and had graduated from
reform school with Ed Conrad, the Seller.
<
Then the Smithsonian executive added a lot more interesting stuff,
according to eBay..

"What we'll do when we're won the auction is hide the petrified brain
in our lower ba{*filter*}t -- a place where the sun doesn't shine --so
nobody ever sees it again," he told his neighbor. "This is what we do
with ALL physical evidence that we don't what the public to know
about."

Other mumblings that were caught on tape included Joe -- which is not
his real name --
referring to Ed Conrad as "a real {*filter*}," "a
freakin' retard" and "an ignorant {*filter*}."

After cooling down a bit, the Smithsonian source
sheepishly admitted that Ed's incredible discoveries of petrified
human remains between coal veins confirm that Charles Darwin's theory
is "a blast of hot,stinky air," then opened his wallet and pulled out
this picture..
