Hello everyone,

PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.  

I have a friend with Hodgekin's Disease.  He had it once before, went
through chemotherapy, and recovered.  Now it has come back in the pelvic
area.  

The doctors have given him a 5-10% survival rate with chemo, a 50/50
chance with bonemarrow transplant, and 0% if left alone.  He has decided
against all treatments, even the bonemarrow transplant.  He said that he
just didn't want to go through with it.  He currently has two weeks
before the tumor spreads to the point when even the bonemarrow
transplant will give him much of a chance of survival.

If anyone knows of alternative treatments for Hodgekins' or can give me
a compelling reason to convince him to get the bonemarrow transplant,

Has he been offered radiotherapy to the pelvis? It is often used to limit
spread, but doesn't give cure - can buy time though.
