I believe that this is entirely possible. The range for a
normal T4 is very wide and I have found that I need to be in
the upper range to feel "right". I think you need to try to
feel like you did before you were hypothyroid, not get your T4
in the clinically normal range.

A low T4 with a normal TSH can be just a matter of a lab value,
you need to specify how far from normal the T4 was and how
normal the TSH was for me to be more specific.
There are other possible causes which would require evaluation
by an endocrinologist.
Primary hypothyroidism is defined by a high TSH and
hypothyroidism. There are other causes for hypothryoidism.
