What exactly does this term mean? 23 years ago when I was given an
epidural during delivery, I had an episode of extreme hypotension and
bradycardia which was then termed vagal response. Two days ago I had  a
similar reaction to a single {*filter*}dose of Lopressor and the same term
was used. The doctors' explanations I have received are not very clear.
Can anyone here help? I have also been diagnosed with 1st degree AV
block which, I gather, is a mostly harmless condition.
