
What conditions can cause hyperreflxia/hyperactive nervous system?

some people have brisk reflexes, but in the absence of other
neurologic symptoms, there is not really a great worry. Increased
tone in the muscles, positive Babinsky reflex, and weakness suggest an
"upper motor neuron lesion." Hyperthyroidism, anxiety, caffeine,
other stimulants, can cause the reflexes to be very brisk. H2
