There is an Alopecia Areata Foundation located in California somewhere.
I should say the national office is located in CA.  It might be San
Bruno but that's just a first gut answer from a vague memory pull.  

Try calling 1-800 and seeing if they have a toll-free number.  Or maybe
someone else has a better pointer than mine.
