I'm working with Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) and estimating bone
resorption around (hip) joint prostheses. Can anyone explain how altered
stress/loading leads to bone resorption at any level? Alternatively, can
you refer me to any articles or points of reference?
