There was supposedly a controlled study going on to see if helps or not, but
someone reported that they heard on the radio (Dr.Dean Adell show) that the
study came out negative. However, I have not seen that report printed
anywhere, so I wonder if anyone can confirm this report? There is a lot of
anectodal support for it. I recently saw a column by a person who mentioned
that his father was trying it after having bypass surgery done once, and then
told he needed it again, and decided to try Chelation instead. He was doing
better after completing part of the treatment, but the column made an
interesting point. Most people who try Chelation often are also told to change
their diet and are given vitamins and minerals (Chelation removes not only the
bad calcium, but also other minerals, so you have to replace that which is
lost). It's possible that these changes might be responsible for some of the
improvement.
