I have never posted to this group before, but it seems to be the right place
to post the following question.  I just learned last night that my mother is
going into the hospital for testing for what I was told were "lumps on her
liver".  She is 49 years old, does not smoke or drink {*filter*} (but does drink
coffee), and has always been in generally good health.  I don't know how
long it will be until I hear results of a test, but could anyone out there
shed some light on the possibilities and treatments of this undiagnosed
problem.  Any info will help as I am just sitting here trying to pass time
with my work.  Thanks very much.
