"Restless Leg" Syndrome: Can Somebody Describe It?

My left leg has been giving me grief when I'm trying to sleep for years and
years - but in the last few months it's begun to really impinge on my life - as
in going to bed at 9 and not getting even close to 8 hours sleep until 8 the
next morning.

I'd bet a week's pay that it's not any kind of bone pain.   In fact "pain" isn't
even the right word.    Been to a couple of orthopods over the years, but when
the x-rays don't show anything they just lose all interest.

Likewise a half-dozen GPs - none of whom have ventured an opinion.

It's somehow connected with my bladder (full bladder ==> greatly-increased
symptoms, but only when lying down... pressure on a nerve??)

Has anybody experienced anything similar?

Can anybody comment on the symptoms/causes of "Restless Leg" syndrome?

My aunt had it, and didn't get much help from her GP either.

I have what I have wondered is a related condition, except its my
{*filter*} instead, and not so related to inactivity. (My doctor's baffled
by it.) I mention it only because it's also worse when my bladder's
fuller. Or, also, when I'm ill.
