Yep, the brief, naive, euphoric era of infectious disease being
"vanquished" is over. The old foes are back with antibiotic
resistance, and the new foes will continue crawling out of the
clear-cut jungles and arriving at your local airport just hours later.
WNV and SARS need to be viewed in perspective. They aren't the worst
that can happen. Hell, they barely rate honorable mention....
