 Precocious puberty

The three-year-old daughter of one of my co-workers has been diagnosed
(probable) as suffering from precocious puberty. It seems to be a rare gene
-related condition, which causes hormones to be released too early and
stunt growth.  I've been unable to find much information on this on the
Internet; does anyone know of any specific resources, support groups, etc?
Any information would be very much appreciated.

Generally these children are treated with hormone supressents, and it
works well if discovered early enough.  The puberty hormones bring about
the end of growth , and therefore if a child goes through puberty at 3,
they will remain the size of a three-five year old for life.

Just a little info :-)
