 Scar revision

Hey!
I wonder if it's possible to reduce or remove scars after a major surgery.
My doctors have been force by the nature to operat me tree times after a crash
my bike.
I torn up my upper part of the leg: the wound was not quite a circle, but
nerly. About 2 times 2 inces. And my lower part of the leg was broken and "a
part of the leg went out of the skin".
The situation is that I hate scars on my body. So I wonder what is my chances
to get a "better looking leg". Please can some plastic surgery email me a
answer.

Thanks in advance from Sweden.

Yes, a plastic surgeon can treat your scars in several ways --
another operation, sanding it down, or injecting it with steroids.
However, none of these treatments are gauranteed to work or to prevent
recurrence.  If you're very serious about it, see a plastic surgeon or a
dermatologist.  However, realize that most insurance companies won't cover
it, it may take many treeatments, and there's a good chance that your
scars will come back.

"If it were easy, everyone would be doing it."
