Hell on Earth - the worst diseases to have
: My vote for the worst pain I have ever suffered goes to gall bladder disease.
: Worse than the pain of natural childbirth. Just as bad in Canada as in the
: United States :)
Actually, childbirth is a bad example.
If you check with a mid-wife, you will find that the level of pain ranges
from "so excruciating that they needed to go to the hospital even though
there were no other complications," to "she looked like she was having an
{*filter*} and had no complaints of pain/discomfort whatsoever." (in some 3rd
World cultures, {*filter*}ic child-birth is considered to be within the norm
and a really painful one is considered a Bad Sign...)
The only time when childbirth is automatically going to be painful is
when using the old 19th Century medical innovation of forcing the woman's
pelvis to tilt upwards by propping her feet up on stirrups and substituting a
yankvia forceps for the force of gravity...
