My experience with baking soda & peroxide: There is a product similar to
that that comes premixed. It has the word 'carbamide' in the name. A
few years ago, I used to use it when cleaning my teeth because I had the
belief it would be good for keeping teeth clean around the gum area. BUT
I was told by a periodontist not to use it because the peroxide can burn
your gums. I don't know if it would be sucha problem if you didn't use it
frequently. But I was told to stop using it. I don't know whether it
would whiten your teeth. My teeth are relatively white, anyway, so I did
not notice any such effect.
