This info may have nothing to do with your problem, but it is something to
ponder.....

Most airliners pressurize to around 5000 MSL or about the same baro pressure
as in Denver or Mexico City.  Sometimes when folks first move to those
cities it takes a little while for their kidneys to start increasing the GFR
and get rid of some of the extra fluid.  Without as much pressure pressing
in on the body, there is a slight increase in transudation of fluids.  It is
adjusted fairly quickly.

Most folks don't notice the changes particularly.
