Calcium chloride by mouth is very different than calcium chloride
intravenously, so there should be little problem. I'm not familiar
with CaCl2 being used for asthma. In the US, we usually start with
the use of inhaled corticosteroids and beta-2 agonists, before going
to systemic medication. The other caveat is to be sure he truly does
have bronchial asthma and not ischemic heart disease masquerading as
asthma attacks... H2
