     Ask your present doctor.  Most docs know each other and have
opinions about each other's competance (though HMO-type docs may
be relatively unknown to the community).  Since you have developed
a relationship with your old FP, you and he should be comfortable
discussing change for insurance reasons; and he should have an
interest in finding you the best care available. (I would).
