Unfortunately, lung cancer that has metastasized to the liver
is essentially incurable. I doubt there is adequate data to
quote exact survival rates for an 85-year-old, but to get closer
to expected survival rates, it would be important to know whether
this is small cell or non-small-cell lung cancer.
To get general data, though, I would suggest looking on the web
at www.nci.nih.gov.
