I would like to know what a 'neurinoma' is. It seems to be
a sort of tumor taking place only on nerves. Is it benign
or malignant ?

I haven't heard of a "neurinoma".  A neuroma or neurolemmoma is
a benign tumor of the nerve sheath.  They are frequent in patients
who have von Recklinhausen's Neurofibromatosis.
