 Amish web pages?

 Hi!

I'm a student and I must do a research on the Amish society.  Are there any
good web pages or any ressource I should check?  Help would really be
appreciated.

Thanx

Well, talk about the ultimate irony!  There is a web page, at
http://padutch.welcome.com (sorry-- no hypertext, you'll have to type it
in yourself!) which to my mind belongs firmly in the "what's wrong with
this picture" category.  To have a web page on a group who shuns much
technology is pretty indicative of something, though I'm not sure what.

Anyway, from what I read of it and the bits that I know about the Amish,
it was pretty good.  However, I feel constrained to point out that I have
no idea what the Amish themselves think of the information on it.  From
what I can tell, they were not consulted about it and don't participate
in its question and answer function.

There is also a decent literature on the Amish, if you wish to do some
library research.
