Hi,

Y'all have been beating this race thing to death, so I will forward my
conjecture about things.

From studying the differences that I can see in the various racial
subtypes through my own personal observation, it is apparent to me
that there developed two main groups: those that look similar to
today's Asians, and those that look similar to today's West Africans.
These two types likely came from one original type, according to the
scientific evidence currently available. This original type was more
likely the Asian-looking type, since that type has many physical
features more conducive to forest-dwelling than the West
African-looking type, and humans did evolve from an arboreal  type of
ancestor.

The great divergence, the results of which we can still recognize
today, seems to have occurred in response to changed lifestyle
conditions. As human populations expanded beyond the forest, there
became an immediate need for adaptive change, in order to survive in
the different conditions outside the forest. The West African-looking
type possesses such adapted traits.

That the A (Asian-looking) type ended up populating the East of the
Old World, and the WA (West African) type ended up populating the
West, is pretty plain to see. This likely happened because the forests
became overpopulated, and someone had to move to the exposed plains.
WA type emerged as the new plains populations changed to reflect
survival needs in their new environment. The WA type then became
increasingly numerous because of the large area and cooking.net">food supply
available. Soon after, the WA type forced the migration of at least
some of the A type, in order to reclaim forest land, which would still
be considered highly favorable territory, since adaptation always lags
somewhat behind the conditions which cause it.

It seems that there were several waves of A migration as progressively
more of the forest was reclaimed by the WA. The first waves of
migration allowed for A settlement nearer to the forests, since the
plains populations had not yet spread as far from the forest as they
eventually would. The successive waves of A migration would have been
required to move further and further away to find unoccupied land.
This is how the East-West spread occurred.

Admixture of these two differentiated groups was consistently
occurring as neighboring populations intermingled, producing a general
progressive continuum from West to East, WA features transitioning to
A. Over time, population appearances continue to drift in response to
local environmental conditions; forest-dwellers drifting toward A
features, plains peoples developing a higher frequency of WA features.
The level of skin pigmentation was only one characteristic, and came
to vary widely in the decendants of both differentiated groups.

The sun's ultraviolet radiation is metabolically beneficial as well as
harmful, and skin pigmentation in various populations adapted to the
local conditions. As groups migrated further north, they became
lighter in color. The people known today as Europeans show both WA and
A characteristics, as they descend from various mixtures of the
differentiated types, pigmentation and other racial features tending
to vary widely. Continued patterns of migration along the South Asian
coasts give rise to some WA features appearing noticeably from the
Arabian Peninsula, through India, Southeast Asia, Australia,
Indonesia, Phillipines, Oceania., and perhaps previously in Central
and South America.

Many of y'all are way too hung up on race. There's no reason to be
proud of your race; it's not an accomplishment you can put on your
resume, you didn't choose it, invent it,  or discover it; you didn't
earn it; it was given to you. The honorable and dishonorable
behaviors, customs,  and accomplishments  of your ancestors aren't
your responsibility, nor your legacy, nor do they credit you in any
way. Humans without a real identity love to attach glory to themselves
in any way possible. Attempting to validate your ego by associating
the history of your ancestors with yourself is just a sneaky way of
bragging about yourself when you're just a wannabe.

Africa even now seems to have enough
genetic variation to "create" all races without any new mutations just through
selective breeding.  Specifically there are
Asiatic looking Africans (Bushmen), Caucasoid looking ones (many Ethiopians)
and Negroid looking.  In fact
East Africa has all three appearing types.
Our ancestors who left Africa probably looked like modern day Somalis.
Asian physical features were probably
accentuated by the cold of N E Asia and
by neotany.
As for "race debating {*filter*}s" ---race is
important, very important--contrary to the
present liberal viewpoint.  If race determines a populations average IQ and
level of {*filter*} and civilization then it
is the MOST IMPORTANT topic to be discussed.  Again I realize being concerned
about race is uncool.  But
in any debate about school reform, Africa's future, how to treat China, why
spending millions on new schools doesn't raise IQ's etc. race should be
considered
as a factor.

And this amazingly rapid racial transformation took place when?
